If you're expecting JJ McDermott to test your secondary, you're in for a surprise. He can't hit the deep ball and isn't that great at hitting short and intermediate passes. He'll throw at least 2 picks.

If we had a truly great QB, this game might definitely be a really tough one for TCU. But we are rockin' two average QBs who have to play lights out for us to be in this game.

2005 was fun because they were coming off the big upset of OU and went on to run the table as I recall. We basically ran it down their throats because our guys wanted it more than they did. I expect our seniors will deliver a near super human effort to get the bad taste of purple out of their mouths.

my prediction: we will run far more than usual this coming Saturday

Hopefully in more short yardage situations, can't afford to blow drives against TCU because June wants to throw with an inaccurate QB on 3rd and short.

you can count on 3rd and short throws and 4th and short throws. That is just what he does.

I know, that's what worries me and gives me little confidence in our chances against any team with a pulse.

again you can't routinely run on 3rd or 4th and 2 in the Run and Shoot w/o a TE or H-Back

If he can throw the ball overhanded then he'll probably torch our secondary.

Not every short yardage situation but more than we have seen. Wouldn't kill him to call some PA rollout passes.

It seems like we can barely throw the ball standing still...
