Maybe Jim Turner stepped up and said it is time for a new stadium. He could afford to fund the dam thing himself.

According to one of my closes friends, who is a Baylor grad and very well conected to what goes on at Baylor, Drayton McLane is supposedly prepared to make a sizable donation towards the Stadium Project once the sale of the Astros is completed.
I have my doubts as well but they would probably be able to raise money to undertake a renovation project of Floyd Casey Stadium, then again anything would be an improvement to that place..

I have no doubt they will get the money for a very nice rehab, but in current climate and whats about to occur, no way they raise 250 for stadium...

No one likes Rick perry...Unemployment rate is high in texas but far lower than national average, home prices have stayed relatively flat...
