mizzou curatorshttp://www.mrsec.com/2011/09/mizzou-cur ... next-week/
what is a curator anyway? looks like nothing will happen in the wild and crazy world of expansion until next week at the earliest. i'm thinking mizzou is going to the sec which leaves another spot open that will be filled by some team not in the state of texas. if mizzou goes to the sec it leaves a good gap for loserville byu cincy and then it gets kind of tricky. possibly wvu but i kind of doub it. af-again doubtful. the logical choices are a texas school but ut will block it.
Re: mizzou curatorsThanks Nacho cheese
Re: mizzou curatorsand if it is a texas school, chances are they want TCU and UH ahead of us. I am starting to think it's Big East or bust for SMU.
Re: mizzou curatorsBig busty coeds.
Re: mizzou curatorsWe will not be going to the Big 12, Big East, or any other major conference any time soon. Probably ever. Sucks but its true.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: mizzou curatorsYou can foe people. I added Mestengo to my foe list and life is great.
Re: mizzou curatorsCan I put those damn rollover ads on my foe list?
If I have to listen to the OSU vs. A&M preview one more time I might jump out of my second story window!
Re: mizzou curatorsFrom a competitive standpoint, I think Mizzou would be making a big mistake by going to the SEC. The closest thing to relevancy that Mizzou football has had was in the last 10 years on the back of Texas HS recruits. Go to the SEC and Mizzou's exposure to Texas will be dramatically curtailed. One trip to Texas every other year isn't going to cut it. try competing in the SEC with a bunch of recruits from Missouri and Illinois.
Re: mizzou curatorsI'll take that under advisement Cox. I was pretty optomistic about our chances when the administration went public with its push to get into an AQ conference. But lets face it. We aren't where we need to be yet to garner that sort of attention. We are probably 4-6 years away from being a serious contender for a BCS conference. I have faith that we can eventually get there. We just have to hope the landscape of college athletics is more favorable to us next time. If not, we need to explore other options regarding the future of the program.
Back off Warchild seriously.
