Did the "death penalty" kill off SMU's baseball program?I was wondering if the "death penalty" SMU received in football help kill off SMU's baseball program?

Re: Did the "death penalty" kill off SMU's baseball program?Yep, your right. Looked it up and was given last rights in 1980. For some reason, I thought it was killed after the "death penalty." Would love to see SMU bring it back, but I guess it would cost to much $$$$.

Did the "death penalty" kill off SMU's baseball program?Played some high school playoff games at reverchon against some of the Dallas schools. I saw some pretty strange things going on not to mention I was sexually harassed through the fence throughout the whole game while I was out in left field by myself.
