UPDATE: Priority no.1 in Big 12 land is to make sure Missouri commits to the right conference. Well, the right conference according to the Big 12.

A source told Dave Sittler of the Tulsa World that "(Big 12 interim commissioner, Chuck) Neinas (is) 'working hard at re-recruiting Mizzou and talking them down off the ledge' and away from jumping to SEC."

Let them go. I hear New Mexico is up and coming. Recruit them instead. Leach is going to be there. He can reunited with all his B12 coaching friends.

Yes. If anything, BYU has a worse record as a conference partner than UT. BYU has been a founding member of 2 conferences, and bailed on them both very suddenly.

i seem to recall airport al and the gang meeting in an airport in denver. seems like they bolted from the wac 16 after that secret meeting and formed the mwc. left the rest of us in a very geographically challenged conference.
