Three man pass rush is very difficult when you are rested and a total disaster when tired and facing a hurry up offense. I could not believe Mason made no changes to the defensive strategy in the 4th thereby giving up 23 points. They even had big trouble getting in 2 line subs on TCU's last TD series. They had better learn to make some adjustments or big games are going to be lost.

Tried it against A&M as well and they shredded it. Only teams with very little offensive talent have trouble against it.

lets call that a dodged bullet and not see it again this year, ok Tom? We got lucky they flailed at the end or this would have been the biggest tank ever.

Very happy we won - very excited for the team - it was great to watch the end - - but the staff needs to look at that fourth quarter and try to learn from it.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the 34 zone defense was not working in the second half. On top of that, the defense was not ready, time after time after time because of late defense calls from the bench when TCU went to the quick set offense. Neither team deserved to win that game.

I knew I would get in trouble from the head of the Pom Pom squad with that comment. In Fairness, It was before the end of the game and I was under the influence. So proud of this team!

If it was before the end of the game then you are forgiven.

We always struggle against hurry up offense this is not new. One thing i want to ask at the lunchoen is if we have a nickle or dime package because when it became obvious they were done trying to run the ball we still had to play soft zones because 4 LB were in there against their 5 WR

Tom Mason is doing a helluva job with this defense. We talk about Klemm but Mason might be another other schools might look for.
