I think Margus got a hand on the last field goal. The ref was signaling a deflection and Margus was really mad after it went through anyway.

not sure about that, TCU was a better team in 2005, they are a little down this year for sure. And we finished that game strong in 2005 instead of limping to the finish like today. We do have a chance to build on this though which we failed to do in 05.

And that all proves that Tank was right. 2005 *was* a fluke.
This team can do something. This is a far bigger win.

I disagree that this was a win over a superior team. I think we are legitimately better than TCU this year, which means this win says more about the current state of our program than the '05 game did.

I understand the reason to downplay it but no reason to get excited? Probably the biggest victory for this program since before the Death Penalty is more than enough reason to get excited....even if just for a day.
It's a big win definitely but Jones has said this team has bigger things in mind. I'm hoping they're ready for UCF in 14 days and there's no hangover.

Not terribly impressed by the talent at the game. our coeds are hotter. After seeing the cheerleaders in person, tv makes them look good. Their dance girls are hot though
I just finished watching the DVR of SMU's incredible finish after returning from the USC game.
Absolutely wonderful!
USC Attorney Bill Fan and I were screaming at the finish of the SMU game like crazy men confusing everyone in the Harbour as the game had ended over one hour ago, but it was all unknown to us.
I'm so proud of all the PONIES and all you long suffering Pony Fans!
