TCU fans amuse me

Postby PonyTime » Sat Oct 01, 2011 11:40 pm

I love how they use [Craig James] in conversation to indicate a cuss word that they evidently cannot express on their froggie fan forum.

There are alot of [Craig James] words going on over there right now.

With that said, TCU is the most [Tank Carder] team in the country and we should not gloat about beating an [Tank Carder] team in OT. Let's not all roll big [Gary Patterson] doobie's and celebrate about beating an [Tank Carder] team when we really need to be focused on Central Florida.

Awesome win ponies!

Peace - Out.

they're even questioning why TCU would choose to defend first in OT. they seem to think they gave away home field advantage by doing so. in their own stadium!

My favorite two threads from the Froggie Fan Forum:

Worst Officiating since . . . 2005 (You guessed it - they ahven't had officiating this bad since the last time we beat them...)

Mediocre recruiting finally catches up with us

I must add the following thread to my favorites on Froggie Land Forum:

I have been surprised at how little football knowledge their fans have compared to those of some of the other schools we play.

I wish we played them again next week, but I guess I will have to wait a year to have them back at Ford. Great game, great rivalry. The tides are turning to SMU.

Yeah, the officials gave us this game. If it weren't for them, TCU would have killed us. Our fans suck. Craig James sucks. June Jones sucks. Dallas sucks. SMU fans are all gay and cheat at everything we do. We just got lucky today. Had nothing to do with our guys' effort or heart today.

TCU, on the other hand, kicks [deleted]. Fort Worth kicks [deleted]. Their team kicks [deleted]. Their fans are all literate, successful gentlemen. Horned frogs kick [deleted].

Woe is me.

I was mildly "amused" in Frog Alley when I walked up to a tailgate tent that had a big table of beers and politely asked if "a buddy and I could buy a beer?.The TCU guy looked at us and said
"uh no...we dont have enough" as we gazed at tons of beer sitting on his table 20 minutes before kickoff. I guess thats par for the course with opposing fans, but after being generous over the years at our Blvd tent with beer and food with Frog fans when they visit SMU it just seemed tacky. Whatever, hope the guy ended up crying in all his beer after the game. Last laugh: SMU!

On the shuttle back to our car and in the Railhead after the game, had at least 6 different TCU complain about the refs. For the most part they were gracious, but just could not believe we beat em without help. Funny.

Mediocre recruiting? Stallion tells us that they've been the best non AQ recruiters in the country for a decade! Either way they can't say lack of talent is why they lost yesterday, but SMU is a better football team than TCU.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Well...on the play that wound up getting tcu back in the game (Jj's pic which led to a td) toka/cujo/Jeremy was all but tackled while running his route which left only tcu defenders nearest the ball, save for another SMU wr deeper whom I mistook for the intended receiver

It was definitely the refs who caused Zach Line to strip the ball from the returner and get Chris Parks a special teams TD, and it had to be the refs who allowed us to get a 17 point lead before they got on the board.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Potential is nothing, performance is everything.
