I like the comparison to Texas Tech. They won for years with experienced Senior/Upperclassmen QBs-we did too today. Line em up. Sit them, redshirt them and wait for them to develop. And SMU fan that doesn't realize that the annual freshman saviour isn't the answer hasn't been paying attention.

It's nice to show a glimpse of depth - nothing we have had in years and years. Very concerned with our OL and lack of experience next year.

I think KP will use this year and be a force next year...if we can get an OL to protect him.

Our OL will undoubtedly struggle next season, it's going to be incumbent upon Padron (if he sticks around and wins the job back) to make better reads and quicker decisions because even the best OL can't make up for a QB who holds the ball way too long.

We have two good QBs now. Both with experience. So much better now than when we were taking some drummer on an intramural team and in two weeks trying to make him a starting major college QB. There w=once was a time we couldn't find, recruit or keep a decent QB. We put sacrificial freshman on the field and let them get killed. Not now.

We are fortunate to have two very good qb's. Couchem...you probably wanted to trade Romo after the Cowboys loss to the Jets didn't you?
