Re: Official - Secret Conference Thread
Does anyone really believe that BYU would give up their TV rights to join the b12-3? I just can't imagine that.

Re: Official - Secret Conference Thread
Aren't there about, say, 60 institutions interested in the Big 12...ya know, every non-AQ team in the country? What an empty statement by the Big 12.

Big East is looking at SMU and UCF. No articles out yet. Keep this secret.

Re: Official - Secret Conference Thread
Dallas Media Source says: TCU to stay in Big East. No Big 12 Invite because no confidence they can replace Patterson and have continuity. TCU content to play in Big East and build from Conf. USA. This will come out tomorrow through various media.
Big 12 expansion committee to meet this week. Presidents have given authority to expand. Revenue splitting means 18-20 million for 10 team split. No word on whether authority also includes 12 teams. Tues. meeting of Mizzou to adopt plan through their conservators (Board). Looks good for Mizzou to stay for the money and chance to compete. Also giving authority for expansion.
No confirmation on any Wed. announcements at BYU. Likely Big 12 announcement, later this week after expansion committee meets, Presidents give oral approval and official invites are given out. My source says no official invites have been handed out to any school, but informal discussions about invites have gone back and forth with memorandums of understanding setting forth conditions upon which school(s) could join Big 12 conference. No schools identified other than what "people are seeing in the paper."
