After the decade of success our program has had, we should be beyond getting beat by bottom dwellars like Baylor and SMU. I know they are having good years for them, but this is TCU. We should have the talent to beat them even when things don't go right.

I spent some time reading what they have had to say after the game. Little if any credit given to our guys for winning. I guess a lot of them were never around when TCU was the whipping boy of everyone else, including Rice. Truly an arrogant bunch over there. They have evidently taken on the same kind of attitude most UT fans have.

Last year's rankings aside, TCU will never be anything close to UT.

Saturday was a good indication of what they are: a good — but not great — team that will have good wins every now and then but also is susceptible to getting beaten when a good team plays well.

Their 2010 run was a magical once-in-a-lifetime season. Get used to it.

There's a particular TCU fan on killerfrogs that cracks me up. He is incredibly adamant about how we're a garbage team and how TCU beat themselves and how the refs gave us the game. It's tough for some of them to give us any credit, due to their new found hubris. It's sort of funny to me :p Luckily, I would say MOST fans over on killerfrogs are actually very reasonable and did give us credit both before and after the game. There are some good TCU fans so let's remember to take these wins with class.

Only saw a couple of them that had much good to say about us and the rest blamed the loss on everything imaginable. Just waiting to hear them blame it on Bush.

Ding ding ding. As for my characterization of the other fans, perhaps it has to do with my honing-in on posts that seem level-headed and fair? Perhaps you're right, looking back at that forum, it seems like a lot of people are blaming it on recruiting, refs, coaching and other stuff.

I understand what you are saying. There were a few that kept warning them before the game that there was a chance we would beat them and most of them would have no part of that. After the game one of them called out some of the posters on there and told them they needed to listen to him from now on. If you have time to kill it is very entertaining to read some of the stuff these characters write over there. They are in a world of their own. Like him or not, Patterson is an excellent coach and some of them are on his case about the loss.

They have ZERO class, and therefore should be treated as such. Quit trying to be gracious, because they do not return the favor. We took what is rightfully ours, and they are beginning to see the storm building to their east. A storm that threatens everything they have built over the last decade.
