in answer to the question, I think we might do what Dr Death or whomever was saying and roll 5 wide a lot more often..get Zach Line-who is playing a ton of minutes and kickoff-some rest

I didn't necessarily mean that our guys were all speed demons, but rather that if we are rotating in and out 5-6 guys at receiver, and the D isn't, those guys are going to get worn out. i'll take a fresh, but slightly less fast receiver over a corner who's had to run all day and defend 2 different receivers.

Hopefully we only let him cover one guy at a time

Yes he did. Josh Robinson maybe? I remember he had the same last name as Aldrick

My guess is that if everyone is healthy, the starting four will be Beasley, Wilkerson, DJohnson and Holman... although if Beasley and Holman aren't 100 percent healthy, I assume JJ would have no qualms whatsoever about playing Thompson and JJohnson

Incidentally, Jeremy Johnson and Der'Rikk Thompson are nicknamed "Worm" and "Bird," respectively. Not exactly sure what can be done with that, but it struck me as funny. There has to be a T-shirt in there somewhere.

With all our receivers (save Beasley) having names ending in 'man,' seems like we could capitalize on that for a t-shirt-slogan-gimmick-video something.

It wouldn't surprise me if JJ continues to rotate every couple series with Thompson and Holman. I don't see J Johnson rotating in with Beasley, but I would love to see him on the field. Maybe J Johnson takes Loftin's spot when we go 5 wide?

For whatever it's worth, Der'rikk is supposedly the reigning speed demon on the team. Last year, Aldric Robinson said that Der'rikk was faster than he was when Al was a freshman.

Sometimes players and coaches get enthusiastic and tend to exaggerate a bit. But even so, clearly Al thought Der'rikk was the real deal.

Cant have too many good players can you! With injuries so common you beter be ready. the showing Jeremy J has made makes you wonder why he has been siting on the bench for two years unless just the last couple of weeks he "all of a sudden became a player"! Nothing against Beas or DJ because they are very good but a guy like Jj has shown he can play. As I have said before, football is such a physical game that quality subs should be playing to give the starters a rest for the final stretch. We were running on fumes in the fourth and not one receiver exept DJ could get open and that was only the deep routes during the 4th quarter meltdown.
