Honestly I really didn't before this game because we had nothing to brag about. But, after seeing them lose with Patterson at the helm, you can see a lot of their true colors. Zero credit to SMU winning on their turf from their head coach. He sure teaches class to his fan base. Will he ever give credit to a team that beats him?

Don't understand why some tcu fans don't see this as a rivalry. All-time record is 43-40-7(tcu). Looks pretty close to me.

I love people that call themselves football fans and then make comments like "our coaches dont give a damn about winning this year". If they would even spend two minutes with a single football coach they would realize just how competitive they are in just about everything. Idiot.

They don't know what it is like to lose. My brother was there 5 years and just graduated and Said that was the first game he had ever gone to that TCU lost.

So you should call your brother and ask him "how does my [deleted] smell now?"

Also, it seems most every TCU fan thinks that they have been world-beaters forever. How quickly they forgot that up until the late 90's, they were pretty mediocre at best. Anyone remember 1-11, 4-7, etc.
I look at TCU and think, if it took them 13 years to get this far...we should be able to do it in 6 or 7 if we continue to have the commitment. We are at year 4 now, and we just beat them at their house. I respect what TCU has done, but by no means do I think they are the only ones that can do it.

Thoroughly agree that some of the posts during the year have been really lame, eg., Peruna vs Big Horsies, Black jerseys, white/blue/red outs, etc., but hey, did you notice that JJ wasn't wearing a lei, and we kicked BUTT. Hows that for Mana man.

I remember their 1-10 or 1-11 pretty well, since we were the 1.

Funny. When I was at SMU, TCU was about as bad as we were and it was one of the games I felt we could actually win. Then, when I graduated, I got busy with the career and all and didn't follow SMU football for a while until June Jones was hired. I didn't even realize TCU was that good until our game with them last year. So my perception of them as a program (and definitely as a school overall) is that they are inferior to us. I just want SMU to get back to winning so I can say I went to college for academics and not for its mascot BUT we kick your [deleted] anyway! Kind of like what Duke grads can say about their basketball program to, say, the Virginia Tech's of the world (not that I like Duke).
