Forget the food, the breakdown of game film is a very interesting and educational experience and worth the price of admission.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

He always shows up after a loss. Probably because he is willing to take the heat and not expose his coaches to it. Most of the time after wins he sends Mason and Morrison.

Let's hope he doesn't show up much this season

Agree as the coaches ere very funny and informative and Gary Cogell who can be obnoxious, was hilarious today!
Can't tell much but will throw out this nugget, they did say the DB's from TCU were the fastest we would see this year. One runs a 4.3 and the other is faster is what was said...so the passes had to be good, as their closing speed was outstanding...
Food sucked entirely...really bad tex-mex...the worst lunch food so far.

When I read people griping about the food, I think of middle schoolers who proclaim, "school lunch sucks!" Monday's lunch was the best one so far for me. BUT I always ate the school lunch and cleaned my plate. (Grades 1-12) Throughout college, I ate the dorm food until I moved into an apartment - and then worked at the dorm cafeteria preparing and serving food in return for free meals. I consider the meskin buffet at the Radisson a real treat. Diff'rent strokes.

Dutch started the whole food discussion by saying it was mediocre, and HE DIDN'T EVEN GO!

We don't need a referendum on the food was better than Dutch said because HE DIDN'T EAT IT.

Berger..I just saw this..I go to every Lunch and I certainly don't ever go for the food, I was just making a general comment that Cutter asked for....the food is normally ok, but this one was really bad IMHO. I am not looking for good food at a SMU lunch, just the info! Its a friggin hotel, I know its not the best...C'mon now I am NOT a middle schooler!......

wow, you guys need to head over to the Mexican Wars thread on Around the Hilltop

Good lunch, packed house. Other coaches sat in back. I like Mason - he is hilarious and would think the kids like playing for him. Morrison is pretty timid.
