I hope this note finds you enjoying our victory over TCU as much as our staff and players did. With a 4-1 record and 2-0 conference record, we still have all of our goals within reach for 2011. As we prepare for a great stretch of Mustang football in the coming weeks, I want to remind everyone about leg two of our Sellout Stampede initiative for October 15th against Central Florida (a rematch of last season's Conference USA championship game). Kickoff time has just been announced as 2:30 p.m.
Sellout Stampede tickets are only $10 each and can be purchased in groups of 25 all the way up to 1,200. Tickets purchased for donation will be distributed through an aggressive community relations outreach effort that is already successfully underway.
Some of you have tirelessly worked to make our initial Stampede efforts a success, but we must continue to kick strong to the finish. With the national recognition we have received in recent days, playing in front of a huge Ford Stadium crowd for the nationally-televised UCF game is of great importance. Our players are excited to play in front of a huge home crowd on October 15. You can make that happen!
