Just a reminder of what a class act he is:

During a Sept. 25 game, running back Ed Wesley was knocked out and was deemed to have suffered a concussion. TV cameras caught a sideline verbal confrontation between Patterson and TCU team physician Dr. Sam Haraldson, which was later determined to be over the status of the Horned Frogsâ€™ leading rusher.

The doctor relayed the interaction between the two in an interview with the American Medical Associationâ€™s website.

â€œHe was knocked unconscious, and any loss of consciousness is automatically considered a concussion,â€ Haraldson said, according to amednews.com, the AMAâ€™s website. â€œHe had an unsteady gait and a few memory problems.â€ â€¦

â€œThen five or six plays later, I literally was verbally accosted by the coach, screaming at me insanely at the top of his lungs that he doesnâ€™t think [Wesley] has a concussion and what right do I have to hold him out,â€ Haraldson said, according to amednews.com

On the day after the game, Patterson said: â€œAs far as Iâ€™m concerned [Wesley] was fine 10 minutes after he was hurt.â€

patterson reminds me of an old SNL skit they used to do called its pat. It was about some hefty person but because of the cloths that person wore and because of said persons weight no one could tell if it was a dude or lady

You know it is a rivalry when a coach spirals into a mental breakdown after loosing. I wonder if this SMU victory pushed the Big East desire to add SMU, and that is why he went over the edge. Yeah he is having less than stellar season, but this reaction has severely damaged the reputation and legacy he has spent years at TCU building. What parents will be happy to let the kids sign up for that? Man I can't wait for next years game.
