Here's what I want to see:
- Despite the picks, I think Eckert should get the start again. He had those four INTs, but he also threw for 288 yards and a score, and moved the offense most of the time.
- Pump the ball to Ryan Kennedy until someone shows they can stop him. On that play where they flagged him for a facemask, he was running through that DB like he wasn't even there. He's a horse - big and pretty fast. I think you keep feeding him until teams gang up on him .... which, if nothing else, leaves other targets open.
- More throws to Reynaldo Pellerin and Bobby Chase. They run pretty well, they're both big, they both block downfield. Chase, in particular, has looked pretty impressive, especially yesterday. He had that one play where he went up between two defenders and simply outmuscled the DBs for the ball. Let's see more of it.
- Caleb Peveto at left guard. The line seemed more efficient and effective with big #50 in there.
- A pass rush. I don't care where it comes from. Play a nickel package and blitz safeties and CBs if need be. In the Tech game, Nnabuife and Akinyemi were in the backfield repeatedly. We need to get guys in there hitting the QB.
- A win.
