SMU Launches $40.33 Iron Skillet Ticket SpecialMustangs Fans,
On the heels of winning the Iron Skillet, SMU has cooked up a $40.33 ticket plan that offers fans a ticket for its four remaining home games at a special rate that highlights SMU's big 40-33 win over rival and 20th-ranked TCU last Saturday. This "Iron Skillet Special" allows fans to catch every minute of the four remaining home games for just $40.33 and see SMU battle UCF (10/15), Tulane (11/5), Navy (11/12) and Rice (11/26). Re: SMU Launches $40.33 Iron Skillet Ticket SpecialI'm heavily considering buying a couple of tickets with this special...I have a question though. We get a choice with either "endzone" or "family section"...Is the family section the players families? I don't want to be surrounded by babies and kids but would happily be surrounded by player's families
Re: SMU Launches $40.33 Iron Skillet Ticket SpecialIt's not players' families. They usually sit in 102 area. It's the "family" section...i.e. little kids
Re: SMU Launches $40.33 Iron Skillet Ticket SpecialThe bottom rows of the "family section" are made up of the "Mini Mustang Cheerleaders and their parents. I sat in 109 last year and they are kept pretty well behaved by their SMU Cheerleader keepers...not a big deal. It's whose sitting behind them that is more interesting, often the drunk Moms from the Blvd who are sneaking in their own booze in their purses. Cussing and cheering too loud is discouraged but that is only the first 1-10 rows, beyond that it's just like any other section but with a cool angle of the endzone.
If you do get tickets there, consider joining Red and Blue Army. We are located adjacent to 109 in 110 and we have a few guys in 109 that would love help. Help us splinter cell into other sections!
Re: SMU Launches $40.33 Iron Skillet Ticket SpecialThanks for the info guys, I don't know if the family section would be the best fit for me. I like to booze before and during the game, stand a lot, and make a lot of noise. I'm sure that is obnoxious for families with kids. I might take the endzone rout which only puts me a section over anyway (I think 109 SMUer)
SMU Launches $40.33 Iron Skillet Ticket SpecialJust got an update that over 100 of these packages have already been sold. Great job in a short amount of time. Hopefully, they keep selling for the next 10 days.
