As I sit here relishing this most sweet victory in my fourth year as a Ponyfan I am amazed and awed by all that has occurred in the fortunes of SMU FB.

the "Circle of Champions," a group of 20 major donors willing to commit to SMU FB
JJ
Hawai'i Bowl

and perhaps the most serendipitous perfect storm of Thaddeus Matula's epic documentary "PONY EXCE$$" which without doubt pushed SMU back into the media's limelight

As for thad - Pony Excess really has made a difference. I was getting texts for my out of town buddies because they now remember who SMU was and is.
