Deloss Dodds said publically that the Big XII would look at about twenty schools to replace their defections - twenty. So Tulane, not to mention schools like Memphis or New Mexico, getting a look should not come as a surprise to anybody. They are keeping an open mind, as they should.
Same goes for SMU to the SEC. I've said that 14th school is a wildcard and I meant it. So, yeah, we will end up on somebody's board when discussing possibilities - I got a C Note says Rice is somwhere there too, and I'm serious. But if they SEC says we want you, we go, no questions asked.

But for the record, I told you somebody in the Athletic Department needed to place a phone call to Birmingham.
