Too bad the SMU/TCU game was officiated by C-USA refs, and the conference actually admitted that there was poor officiating. One game does not make you that great of a team. You're bound to win one every once in a while and if you think for a second that SMU is better than TCU think again. I bet if they had a rematch TCU would win no doubt- especially with some unbiased refs that did not overturn an interception due to "pass interference". If SMU had been getting all of these calls yall would have been griping about how unfair it was. For someone who has gone to SMU games their entire life and supported their team up until the past two years, it's crazy how one little game makes all of you think that SMU is superior now and let it get to your heads. 0-13?!? Have fun losing in the years to come and in your next little bowl game
Two points. First, the CUSA conference only stated the officiating was poor. They did not say it was unfair. There were bad calls and missed calls on both sides. Second, apparently Frogs (lizards) don't know how to read college polls. SMU #33, TCU #44. There are now a lot of people who believe that SMU is better than TCU. NOt just SMU fans. Now go back to Killerfrogs and cry in your beer some more. I forgot, Third point. Your coach in unbelievable. What a piece of work. I use to admire what he has done at TCU. But, this past week he has been out classed and out coached .
Just send 'da money.

So, how exactly does last year's team relate to the current yer performance? As your record will support, you can't base the current team off last year's record. If so, you'd be undefeated and on the way to another BCS bowl. Right? The assertion that a W over TCU is a sure sign that the SMU program is in decline suddenly makes no sense. And no, I don't want fries with that. Just a liter of cola.

So let's get this straight--you supported SMU for your entire life until the last two years when we finally found our way out of the desert and went to bowl games again? And you are calling us crazy? SMU doesn't need you.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

"It's their Superbowl...act like you've won before...how dare you celebrate on our field...we still won the Rose Bowl last year...neener neener neener" Come on TCU...it's a rivalry game. This is just a taste of what it feels like to actually have a cross-town rival...and I think we can all agree that SMU isn't even quite that yet...but we're coming on strong. Yes, it's crazy but we want to beat you. You aren't our most important game during the season. You aren't the only team we think about all year...but you're the only team we think about and are the most important game the week before we play. Hell, we even "don't like" you. Get over it. We celebrate because beating TCU has been something that happens only once a decade. We celebrate because your program has become a yardstick on how close we are to being a competitive private college football team. We celebrate because you are our rival. Take the compliment and come at us hungry next year...or is that too beneath you?

For the record I always thought SMU was superiour, this win just helps prove it. Last I checked we're 4-1, not 0-13. Do you really want to start bringing up past performances? Last time I checked we played in the Rose Bowl and won that game as well. Only thing that matters is right now, and right now, SMU is the better team. Concerning your wishing us ill will, you sound like Corp talking trash about how TCU was going to win this past game. Such a sore loser.
