Coach Bennett announced Wednesday night that in addition to David Page, five other players will not be back next year: WR Ryan Riddle, P Russ Davis, DT J.D. Blagg, TE Mike Brown and DE Markus Pratt.
Sorry to see them go. Good luck in the future, one and all.

Riddle and Blagg have not had a chance to make an impact on the program due to injuries but they had potential.
Davis I know nothing about.
Brown will be missed due to depth, but since we are spreading it out it probably won't matter, and we have a TE coming in.
Pratt is a huge loss because of his potential. He couldn't ever get it together long enough to make the impact he could have. One thing is for sure, his performance off the field took him out of an NFL chance, and a good one at that.

Losing Pratt is a killer. We'll learn quick how good Bennett and his defensive coaches are, because that's a lot of talent in #56 that we're losing. Good luck, Markus.

What about Clay Glockzin(sp)? He has been injured every year as well. Is he still playing and on the roster?

With Walterscheid gone and Davis not returning, the punter from Midlothian might turn out to be the most important recruit in this year's class. Hope he's as good as advertised.

Crowley is gone too, but we have McMurtray. I am looking for our kicking game to be stellar next year.

Think the coaches will even bother running a punt team in the spring? Can't think of even a walk-on punter on the roster, until Mentzel gets to town.

They have a walk on punter from last year and they got another one in about three weeks ago.
