i have a question.

if the "medical redshirt" decision is now made at the conference level, would he need clearance from CUSA or the Big 12?

I followed his recruitment, Griffin was only offered a greyshirt by Texas. TEs get moved to other positions all the time.

I jumped the gun just looked at rss feed then posted the link. I am dumb. I am lucky I got into SMU when I did cause I wouldn't get in today. I also apparently don't know what reportedly means.
