Are we sure that one of the board of trustee members is not discussing a matter with the Securities and Exchange Commission? As much as I would love to see SMU join the SEC, I just can't imagine Mike Slive being able to sell this to the SEC university presidents. I hope I am wrong. I'd love to see the Mustangs play in the Swamp.

i know some of you don't want to hear this, but we may have to play a couple games at the cotton bowl in exchange for getting full support from the city of Dallas. Expand Ford to 45,000 and play Ole Miss, MSU, Florida, Georgia, Vandy at Ford. When Bama, A&M, Auburn or Arkansas come, we play them at the Cotton Bowl during the Fair. Its called a win-win and could make for a great proposal to Dallas and the SEC.

It would BREAK MY EVER-LOVING HEART to watch us play in our traditional home, the HOUSE THAT DOAK BUILT, against the BEST TEAMS IN THE COUNTRY.

by the way, from what i see, JerryWorld is a poor, sterile atmosphere for college football. Cotton Bowl and the State Fair is more SEC style.
