Some of you need to stop drinking so early in day. Although it is Friday. And if it is after 5:00 pm., so - come to think of it, the SMU Athletics Dept is entirely empty and they are probably at Ozona's. Let's all go down there to ask them what is really happening.

We offer NOTHING to the SEC - anyone who is getting revved up about this will be sorely disappointed.

SEC schools - including Vandy - draw more fans for their Spring Game than we do for C-USA games. By the way, do we even have a Spring Game? (I forgot that it is not imporant to have fans or a marketing plan right Dutch and 2ndandlong?)

We would be lucky to see a MWC-CUSA merger and hope for the best.

Hoping to be included in a SEC expansion is a little like the ugly fat 9th grader dreaming of dating the head cheerleader.

You're kind of hoping for him, but you know deep in your heart that it is not going to happen.

Google EJ Holland and Daily Campus you ^&*() idiots ...

Oh, cool, you're gig is now not trying to tear down a middle aged employee of the University, but trying to tear down a student who is probably half your age? Must be reeeeeeal proud of yourself there champ.

Fan support would not be an issue.

SMU could currently be ranked #5 and if their next home game was against ECU, Memphis, Marshall or Tulane....good luck getting 25,000 fans to attend. Bottom line is for the causual Dallas fan it is considered 2nd tier entertainment. Kinda like saying Frisco Roughriders have an important game this weekend...who cares (I actually had to google them).

On the other hand, SEC football is top tier and would draw interest. It would be an EVENT. The Blvd would become THE PARTY EVENT in Dallas. And as Hoop said, the Cotton Bowl during the Fair would be an added bonus.

The Cowboys moving to Arlington could actually work in our favor. According to the Fan Cost Index, it costs $759 to take a family of four to a Dallas Cowboy game, by far the highest in the league.

SMU would become Dallas' team for many causual fans. That is how big the SEC brand is and how affordable we could price our tickets.

Doesn't matter. Until they announce the 14th team, Steve O, RGT, the City of Dallas all need to be selling us like nobody's business. I still say Missouri gives them NOTHING they don't already have. Columbia MO, a few more fans, and a dying city like St Louis 200 miles away from Columbia. BFD.

Hearing nothing about this on the ground in Tuscaloosa. It's homecoming here and T-town is packed. Seems like someone here should be [Gary Patterson]faced and running their mouth about this. Very quiet on the eastern front.

She better act now, because as they approach 30, with his growing cash and her growing waistline, HE will look elsewhere

If this happens Ponyfans could go corporate and move into CUSA offices once it is vacant.

Hey Stlhockeyguy02 -

Bite me.

I know it hurts that I am right, but you may want to redirect your anger toward the people who didn't "MAKE US TOP 25 IN ALL WE DO".
