This is getting ridiculous.

I thought the Big East moved on after TCU left them. So much changes so quickly with this stuff.

So have we all pledged to not have multiple threads this week?
Re: According to ESPN: SMU target of BE, not AFA
I'll say the same thing about us to BE that I thought about Boise St.
IF it's football only (which I would prefer), it would be a great move & step toward creating a national brand. There would be what, at most 4 trips to the east per year for away games, all kinds of exposure on the east coast, greater brand awareness, etc. Let basketball, equestrian and everything else compete in some conference that makes more geographic sense.

Don't be a spoil sport.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Keep your options open like we are doing with the SEC. They really want us but have put them on hold so we can pursue the CUSA-MWC merger.

Without a Southern Division though its going to be a mess-probably still a step we have to take. But why in heavens would we want a Football only invitation. The Big East in BB is fantastic

I will do my best, until something really, really exciting comes along. then, all bets are off.

Wait do I reply in the thread or make a new thread for my reply. This new multiple thread format has gotten so confusing.

I propose merging all threads into one giant thread. Around the hilltop, football, basketball and other sports in one.
