How are we doing money-wise? By the way, I got an email from smu giving who said my notation "friends of marketing" was cut off. I told them where to direct the money but we might want to make sure everyone's donations got to the right place................

Houston or SMU would also be part of the package and if Louisville, which has been projected as a target of further expansion by the Big 12, were to leave, both Texas schools would join the conference. Such a move would give the Big East a Western-dominated division consisting of Boise State, Air Force and the two Texas schools

SMU and Houston only get an invite if Louisville leaves...

Louisville will leave if BYU doesn't go to the Big 12...

BYU won't go to the Big 12 until Mizzou gets into the SEC...

The SEC can't decide if it wants Mizzou or WVU...

If Louisville does leave......and then WVU gets an invite elsewhere, the BE is dead.

With the BB schools calling a lot of the shots, I like our chances vs Houston.

you know that's not far from a BCS conference unless of course there are more raids on the Big East. It might look even better by the end of the season if Houston, Boise, SMU finish strong

It doesn't seem to make too terribly much sense to take either/or. Just take em both, get the public-private mix, both media markets, and feed the world the BS travel partner line where teams go to Dallas on Thursday and Houston on Saturday, or whatever it was when TCU-SMU was a possibility.
