NTSU will stay in the Shunned Belt where they are loved and needed.

SMU, on the other hand, will be riding high as the king of the C-USA hill for the foreseeable future.

After UCF goes as well as other teams in the conference then SMU will truly be the top with any competiton. I am beginning to embrace the idea.

If UH, UCF, and USM leave we can dominate C-USA.

There is no doubt we are better off in CUSA. We could be in the Big 12 with Texas but it is just a matter of time until Texas blows up that conference. Just look at what they did to Houston, Rice, TCU, Nebraska, Colorado, A&M, and Missouri. Not to mention what they did to us.

Not so much a matter of rather--the BCS $ would be nice--but let's face it, we don't look like we'll be getting an invite at this point, so let's embrace the likelihood and get on about the business of winning.

Think of it as "no expectations" applied to all of this realignment nonsense.
