Ray Sims (6-0, 190, 4.6), the DB from Corsicana, says he's got "medium interest" in SMU (offer) and Texas Tech, according to Insiders. Interesting note: the picture of him on that site was taken .... in Gerald J. Ford Stadium. The coaches have always said that if they can get a guy on campus, they like their chances of getting him. It will be interesting to watch this play out.

Are we going to offer this guy? He's got more schools chasing him now, and if we wait too long, who knows what he'll do? If he's as good as advertised, we need to offer him.

PonyFan and Ikus might just know what they're talking about. I read a story today that said Sims was named second-team all-STATE by the AP. I've never seen him play, but that sure tells me he's got some ability. Go get him!
