ya know your right HIXON......we shouldnt try anything new.....lets just keep doing exactly what we are doing.... it's producing such great results....and then lets follow your lame [deleted] idea and [deleted] on the parade of any new ideas!

..hey, why the sarcasm? I'm serious..ANYTHING we could link to, Dallas, Texas, Skylines, the Cowboys, rodeo or Aikman types, would help promote the university and the SMU / Dallas connection....sorry I came off like I was making fun, I'm just trying to jump on this thing with some ideas.....the Cowboys are recognizable, the Stars...Pro Rodeo, maybe a Southfork emblem of some kind, a JR type cowboy hat emblem....what else....no, don't get me wrong...this is good. Long Live The Varsity Shop.

i do think we should do this in a classy way.....if it was designed just right.....it could look pretty cool.....

we might even consider some kind of dallas banner when our games are televised from Ford......so the younger generation would take notice out there in TV Land......

Yeah, thatâ€™s a great idea Hixson. Dallas is all about rodeos and cowboys. And Southfork.....thatâ€™s geniuses, because all 16-22 year olds identify with JR and the Ewings. And professional rodeos do appeal to most SMU type students and potential students. Yee-haw. Long live trolls.

Otherwise, this is a great thread and a great idea. We should do everything possible to promote the real Dallas: fun, culturally diverse, great arts district, unlimited business potential, affordable and great nightlife.

..sorry, I understand.....so...an African-American, eating a chimychanga while looking at some paintings, on the helmet, is more appropriate...cool.

This might be cool, but only if we switch back to white helmets. They looked so much better. Everything actually stands out, rather than looking like the remnants of Jaws 3.
