What are you doing? You know posting stuff like this will cause certain posters (you know who) to go crazy.
Damn you always pushing buttons.

Okay. Assuming it's Temple and Houston and we get left out. What do we do??

i still see the SEC doing something strategic that is not Mizzou or WVA. They either go with an Oklahoma which would be a great SEC fit but would completely upset the competitive balance in college football, or they go with Florida State if they would leave the more winnable ACC, or they add another Texas school. I think Florida State might bite in the end (meaning Uconn goes ACC) but if they don't, i really see SMU as viable candidate for an already overloaded SEC. I don't think the SEC wants more top heaviness. Look at Florida's recent stretch with Bama, LSU and Auburn in consecutive weeks. thats brutal and cannibalizes their league.
probably not, just don't see any reason for Turner and Orsini to give up on it (or anything else) until the almighty SEC announces #14. We have angles to sell that have more to do with market penetration, geography, A&M vs Texas, and the SEC not needing any more power schools.
We can't pass or going into a hold pattern on the BE because we are hoping for an SEC invite. And if for some reason the SEC wants us, we'll figure out how to make it happen (like TCU did).

It was sent FedEx but somehow got lost at FedEx headquarters in Memphis.
you know Memphis is trying to pull out every stop they can right now. a little surprised they aren't in the mix.
One of the most important parts of the exercise is to improve the BE football strength so that AQ status is maintained. Memphis is not going to do that any time soon.
