I think this will be a fun conference to be in even leaving aside the BCS implications.

CoxMustangFan approves the tone of that message.

And Dutch, I forgot to mention I feel bad for ECU and Tulane and SMiss. And I do.

I love the sound of that new conference. Stability aside, I think this is a step in the right direction.
Re: CBS'Murphy Tweet
i hold no ill will towards any of our current conference mates. i do however think that ECU looks so very pathetic after applying over and over and over to be in the big east, only to get passed over when it all goes down (not that we're in yet by any means).
like a beaten puppy that keeps coming back for more. sad.

I really like the looks of our potential Division. Cincy, Louisville, UH, AFA, Boise and SMU. Soild, obviously not spectacular, but 2 have been to multiple BCS bowls recently (Boise/Cincy). Louisville was top 5 a few years back. SMU/UH are on the rise and AFA has been solid for a long time.
Some people simply forget just how bad it was...

Yeah the western division looks like the tougher half. Fairly deep. Good not spectacular. Overall way better than CUSA.

I do, and it looks like I'll have reason to continue hating a current conference mate. I was in the stadium the day Cougar High put up 95 points on the toughest team of freshmen ever assembled. I have hated UH since that day, and will hate that so-called "school" until I die.
