Recruiting needs to step up now

Some of the coaches were saying they could not recruit the better kids due to us not being in a BCS conference. Well now were are so no more excuse. We have to go after the higher level recruit to compete. No more potential diamonds in the rough. We are now in with the big boys so let's recruit like it.

Check spelling 86..Rac? The new BE will retract SMU invite if we can't spell...you KNOW the rules....

he spelled it that way on purpose. the kids we will be recruiting, spell it racroutin'

and they are fast and can catch a football thrown over them mountains.

SMU currently ranks 6th on Rivals out of the teams who will be in the big east if all of this happens:
37 Rutgers
42 West Virginia
43 Boise State
46 USF
47 Louisville
49 SMU

2011 rankings:
29 Louisville
32 Rutgers
39 UCF
47 West Virginia
49 Cincinnati
50 SMU

It will be interesting to see how much improvement the teams joining the conference get from being AQ.

Our recruiting has been steping up every year and would expect it to continue. The quality and level of athletes have been commensurate with our rise in rankings. It WILL get even better if and as we move up to an AQ Conference. BEAT UCF!
