okay, at least some of the UCF fans realized the bogus 'dominant defense' stats (from the cusa board):

Any hope we had was just caught and then ran away for about 70 yards. I think our overrated pass defense had us way too overconfident.

I was just as guilty as every other UCF fan but SMU is showing the world that we aren't the team we thought we were.

I share your anger and confusion. I live in Chicago and I considered flying to Dallas for the game because I was so pumped.

honestly one of our big problems is too many alums like you live in Chicago and New York and points all over. thats just the way it is. SMU is a national and international student and alum network. helps our rep and profile, hurts us in the stands. having said that, we probably have more people watching us on national tv when we are on than ECU ever would.
