don't think so. Dutch and I actually handed out a combined 14 tickets to our friends that went to the boulevard and talked them into going to the game. at least for first half before some left for Arlington.

No, b/c there weren't near as many folks on the Blvd today as there was for the first two games.
I truly believe the vast majority on the Blvd make it inside eventually. Not for the opening kick, but eventually.
We just need more bodies in general.

I live 1300 miles away . If i lived there I would be at every game. I make good money, but not enought to attend every SMU home game. i go to Marshall. i go to Navy. I go to ECU. Went to homecoming last year against UH and plan on attending our bowl this year along with a home game, likely against Tulane for homecoming.

I wish I could be there every game guys. I wish I could find 3000 homeless people here in DC and shuttle them to ford with promises of free booze and corn dogs...

Pretty sure the dallasites on the board were there. Except for comet who manned up. Problem isn't from 10 yd line to 10 yd line on the west side.

just ranting b/c I hate taking [deleted] from people about our fanbase...especially when I have them over to watch the game that I am so excited about.

I should move back to dallas, and be the chris farley superfan. thank you to everyone who attends, brings friends, gives away tickets, supports MC, etc.

Indeed, it sucks because I had plans to attend this game for over a month. Then some tragic family stuff came up that made me forget those plans all together. Then it turns out I wasn't urgently needed like I thought I was and I was left in limbo watching the game from my apartment. The good news about all this family drama? I now have a bunch of nephews new to the area to invite to the next home game (Tulane I think). I'll be sure to bring as many of them as possible to subsequent home games. It'll give them something fun to do and get their minds off of stuff (like I hinted at, some terrible stuff went down in their family), and I'd be covertly indoctrinating DFW youth.

We'll get there.

I think everything is happening so fast that people want to get ahead of themselves. We're on the right track. Attendance has climbed every year, and, even if we stay flat this year, I won't necessarily view that as a loss since we don't have a major regional home opponent like TCU or TTU in recent years.

FWIW a lot of students moved to the West side at half time, but overall attendance sucked.

I don't think they serve corn dogs at Ford Stadium. You can get chips though.
