Not an article, not written by a reporter. This is just blog drivel written by a fan. When did ponyfans turn into a blog/tabloid-news aggregater? I thought bleacher reports & etc were banned, this is the same thing.

i'm well aware of the dance put on by the sec in order to avoid accusations of tampering with tamu. nothing really happened until ou osu tt and ut were denied admission to the pac 12. after that fiasco they returned to the big 12 which made ken starr very happy. so happy that he let tamu go to the sec without suing them. cusa is not going to bring suit against us. there is no real need to play games. cusa has stated that any member is free to leave provided they pay up on their way out.

Also notice how the title of the article it says "Fan's View." I know people are hungry for sports news when there simply isn't any so people like to read things like this for entertainment, but please don't confuse it with information or fact. This is just wild speculation and regurgitation of rumors written by a fan.
The guy writing the article claims to have a PhD in Holistic Nutrition.
how about si. this fine journalist is explaining how cincy is too good to play ecu. not so long ago cincy was in cusa. i wonder if this journalist remembers that little fact.

Getting better Nacho. The writer may be snooty seeing how he is Paul Daugherty, a columnist for The Cincinnati Enquirer.

When the Big East Conference holds its men's basketball media day at the New York Athletic Club on Wednesday, do not expect commissioner John Marinatto to talk much about expansion.
A source told the New York Post that the league has not extended any official invitations and will not until the league's new exit fees are voted on, possibly as soon as Monday.
The league does not want talk of expansion to overshadow the basketball players and coaches, so no invitations will be extended before Wednesday, the source made clear. Basketball is what the Big East was built on, though the rich blood of football money is what will keep it thriving.
The source also said the Post's Saturday report that the league was confident it would land Boise State and Air Force from the Mountain West and Central Florida, SMU and Houston from Conference USA was on target. Those two conferences announced a mega-football alliance Friday.
