team health

How are we health wise heading into USM? I saw Marquis leave the game and come back, but I also saw a couple of others. Are we good to go?

Good question. Beachum had ice on his shoulder, Beasley reinjured his knee, JaGared supposedly was not full speed, nor was DJ from what I was told. Have no idea about the outlook for next week. We may need a panic thread.

and such is football. all teams get banged up. champions have depth to fill in for starters while they get healthy.

Beasley said in his post game that he would have come back into the game had it been close, davis played the whole game and played well my guess they will limit him in practice but he should be fine.

Holy [deleted]! I was really just trying to get a bead on the team after a great game. Football is a rough sport and I was really just curious where we stood coming into a tough matchup against a USM team who had a bye week to let injuries heal. You old farts are too frickin "glass half empty" on every situation. Heaven forbid someone ask a legit question without it being alarmist. If no one can legitimately answer my question, then this thread should be finished.

agreed.
plus, I seem to recall that their back-up qb was playing rather well and hitting passes that Godfrey didn't.

Backup QB (Blake Bortles) looked good in the BYU game when he temporarily replace Godfrey due to injury. Radio announcer at the SMU game made the comment the QB position should be open for competition next year the way the Bortles is playing.
