He liked Klemm and the possibility of SMU being a BCS team.

I saw a recruit over the weekend, standing with a couple of the players who are redshirting, and he looked like a full-grown man, to say the least.

Congratulations, Chauncey, and welcome to SMU!

Klemm is a beast. The man seems to really be plugged in and is everywhere.

I guess winning really does cure all. I can honestly say I am extremely proud of everyone on this board. We get a commitment from a Michigan kid who at this time is unrated by either Scout or Rivals and has no other offers. Three months ago this commitment would have been blasted on this board but now everyone seems to have faith that this staff is recruiting guys who can play and fit our system.

I said early in the process that this would be the best recruiting class we have had in forever and it looks lie that will be the case. If the Rivals reports are correct, this guy is a beast and will be highly rated once they rate him. All in all, this was a great weekend.

Also because he was recruited by the coach that has built a ton of credibility, if he was recruited by anyone else it would be different on here.

Lets hope that's where the parallels between SMU and "Blue Chips" stops!
