Houston # 21 in AP Poll

I see in the DMN paper that Houston in ranked 21 in the AP poll, and also that they are in the WAC Conference. Probably because the last time they were ranked they were in the WAC. I wonder when we are ranked will we be the SWC?

I believe UH was ranked early last year and dropped out after Keenum went down (and their loses when up). They are 19 in the BSC rankings. They have had a great run and it looks like their schedule will keep them in the top 25 for a long time.

If you look at their schedule their only real OOC game was UCLA and that might be questionable now. The west divsion will come down to our game with them. So we better be prepared.

Only if we can limit our losses to one conference loss. They are not losing twice

If indeed we are headed with Houston to the Big East, then what better way to start that relationship by both winning out until we meet as two ranked teams playing for the CUSA west (and hopefully the CUSA) title. Nice little PR boost for the Big East's decision

they have such an easy schedule leading up to us and tulsa. their occ is ridiculous. and talk about random wins....only 1 pt over LTtech and beating ECU by such a large margin. interesting.

You have to like our chances considering we have prepared ourselves against a much better caliber of opponent than Houston has.

Regardless, we need to win vs USM for this "ranked" conversation to take place...
