Remaining Home Games and Attendance
Tulane - Homecoming, usually very well attended no matter the opponent. If SMU is 7-1 at that point, crowd might stay past halftime.
Navy - Always well attended.
Rice - Hope springs eternal, but anything more than a one loss team going into the final game of the season might spell another UCF like crowd. Oh wait, it's on Thanksgiving weekend and early in the day, I predict a smaller crowd than UCF. Unfortunately I'll be part of the problem as I'll be in California for the holiday, terribly disappointing. Who put Thanksgiving during football season?
Navy - Always well attended.

Tulane - 24-26K - probably drops if we lose to both USM and Tulsa
Navy - 27-28K - much lower if the team loses a couple of games before
Rice - 17K-19K due to holiday

On the flipside, I live in Chicago and will be in Dallas for Thanksgiving. I will be bringing my Fiance's whole family to the game. I am pumped ( yes.. Even for Rice)!

Re: Remaining Home Games and Attendance
I wonder if Navy draws well if theycontiune their current showing (2-4 thus far)?
Re: Remaining Home Games and Attendance
I live in Houston and will make 8 games this year. I still can't understand why the folks seated around us from Dallas can't be bothered to make it through the 4th qtr. Don't even get me started on our students. The 2nd half representation in the student section was pathetic.

17-19K will be a huge improvement over most of our Thanksgiving weekend home games

Navy is currently 2-4, and with ECU, Notre Dame, and Troy their next three, they could easily be 2-7 when they meet up with us.

I would expect Navy to be the big favorite over ECU...
Re: Remaining Home Games and Attendance
Tulane should have a good sized 1st half attendance. If Tulane truly is as bad as they have seemed on paper the last few weeks, that and the end of the Homecoming pagentry could lead to a sparse second half.
Navy will be over 27K regardless of their record
Bad Rice team and Thanksgiving weekend will ,make that the lowest attendance of the year.

Re: Remaining Home Games and Attendance
We should team up with Pei Wei or Panda Express, and market the Rice game, with free meal vouchers and Chinese concessions. Maybe the Panda and the Peruna mascot could Kung Fu wrestle. Give away inflatable chop stix thundersticks.

I didn't see ponysnob at the ucf game.

Re: Remaining Home Games and Attendance
We need to try to schedule more night games. The 2:30 slot fails every time (UCF this yr, Houston, Wash St last year)
