SMU QB J.J. McDermott was 20-of-31 for 358 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-17 victory over visiting UCF.

37-17? Did they take away SMU's final extra point? Hover's high-stepping just before the kick was a bit much.

speaking of which, on the missed field goal margus sure was acting like he got a piece of it.

He definitely was acting like it, but I had an excellent view, and I would have sworn he missed it by about a foot.

It sure did look like that kicker was VERY aware he was there, though.
