You guys have to admit that it was a proud moment when the lacrosse club represented us in a presidential inauguration parade.

How about a truce? Men's LAX is the only thing worth a sh*t on campus after hoops season ends. We have NOTHING WORTH WATCHING AFTER FEBRUARY....earlier than that most years.

I was at that game and we (SMU fans) went from being shocked to being royally p-ed off. Seriously they called that on our band---the smaller of the two bands playing! Ridiculous.

i see you posted a link to the 2009 game. What happened last year? 7 W and 6 L on the year? when we have maryland and long island LAXers and they have ex southlake and HP frat dudes? not impressive.

not hating on lacrosse - just not sure you need to be doggin the band - they are pretty much the most loyal of all students when it comes to support and most are not on schollys.

I was there too, and I couldn't understand why our band director let it happen. I don't remember his name, but he had been director or assistant director for the band for several years. Stupid mistake that probably cost us the game.

Oh, and I knew the ref. His name was Dixon Holman, an appellate judge from Fort Worth. Very good guy who called the big pass interference call in our favor against Arkansas the year we salvaged a tie against them to win a trip to the Cotton Bowl.

One of the greatest games I've ever seen except we lost-think the lead changed hands about 4 times in the last Quarter alone

Dude, I love lacrosse. One of my sons is a player. But hating on the Mustang Band is treason.
