MTSU's program is improving and their media market, where it holds its own with Vandy, is larger than LaTech. An Memphis/MTSU rivalry has some potential.

I like FIU for the conference to have a FL presence. La Tech has some history behind it. But, I think Denton CC will be an afterthought in DFW no matter which conference they are in.

My two cents is that East Carolina really wants more eastern teams. I suspect that UCF, SMU and UH will be replaced by one of the Florida teams Atlantic or International. MTSU and probably La. Tech. That way, you'd have MTSU in the east. USM can move west where they want to be until Tulane gets invited to the Big XII.

I think UNT and La Tech are the obvious choices. But I think UTSA has a ton of potential, it would be cool to see them in a better league.
