We have a lot of alumni in NYC but this isn't that great for us as long as we run June's offense. Playing this game in poor weather would be a huge disadvantage to us.

I was hoping Yankee Stadium because then the Big East may actually have a chance to fill it.

I really expected it to be played at the home of the team with the best record.

Agreed, sounds awesome.
Good idea for media coverage, though.
But will be cold, lol, compared to Orlando or Dallas.
Christmastime in NYC is cool though.

He must have forgotten how many UCONN sent to their BCS bowl game last year.

It's Christmas time in Hollis, Queens

That would be really awesome actually. I have a brother who lives in NYC, if SMU ever got that far I would make the trip up there for sure.

I'd like to see it played at Wrigley... The field set up was just perfect... Northwestern is a great academic institution, but I still don't understand how they thought they could put a regulation size football field when the calculations didn't add up???

The only reason so few UConn fans went to the BCS bowl game last year is because everyone knew they were going to get killed and it wasn't even going to be competitive. Normally UConn travels very well!! I went out to South Bend in '09 to see UConn play ND and there was a HUGE UConn contingent at that game.
