Time to put our resources in hoops!! I hate to say this but I am not sure Fball will ever recover. Mr. Ford, can we please have a new Hoops facility? haha...

well, forever is a long time and I'm convinced SMU will field winning football teams again someday. I just hope it's at some point during my lifetime.

Jimmy Tubbs and this year's Mustang hoops team has an opportunity to breathe new life into SMU athletics and all of us diehard fans. I'm very optimistic that Jimmy is going to help these guys realize their potentials. We've seen what these guys can do in spurts (against TTech and Purdue last year).

Our football team appear to be pretty fragile right now. Hopefully the bballers will develop an early confidence that will carry them through a successful season.

Well unless you are about 3 months old, I doubt that's gonna happen. BTW, if you ARE 3 months old, you are very mature for your age.

But I do share your optimism and hope for Jimmy Tubbs' future as our hoops leader.

I read Prez Turner and Ford were in a box yesterday at the Breeder's Cup chearing on Ford's Pleasantly Perfect. Too bad it didn't come in.

I won some $$ on Ghostzapper though

The Committment is still going? It's been a long time already and we've lost many, many potential fans along the way...but this isn't the fball thread.
