This just made me laugh when I saw it on ESPN tonight. It's like they think their conference is actually any good.

We really shouldn't be bagging on the "small guys". Bad Karma. We don't need to forget that we were the joke of the ncaa for something like 20 years and just got incredibly blessed to have everything work out pretty perfectly for us over the last 4 years.

Still amazes me really how things have worked out recently

Watch what you say. I'm pretty sure they have a winning record against CUSA right now - I know Memphis is 0-2 against them, Troy beat UAB, and FIU beat UCF.

Heck, UL-Lafayette is 5-1 with a big win and may end up being 11-1.

I'm impressed with what they accomplish considering.

The more talk before the game about how great Houston is pumps up our matchup with them, regardless of record.

I hope they are undefeated before our game. It will make it even more interesting when we beat them. They haven't really beaten any team of substance this year. UCLA and UTEP both gave them a run for their money, and neither of them are any good.

Houston is a decent team, don't get me wrong. But we can beat them!

Fairly generic commercial, but to be honest a general CUSA commercial would not be much different at this point.

Why are UTSA and TxState going to the WAC and not the Sun Belt? Sun Belt is still a few members shy of a championship game and the Wac is way more spread out. Did UNT somehow blackball them?

Sun Belt has 12, 10 football - they could have a championship game and I dunno why Denver and UALR don't move up. A Bill Curry-led Georgia State, who plays in the Georgia Dome, could be looking longterm at moving into that conference.
The WAC on the other hand, who is desperate, offered. I don't think UTSA and TSU would even be moving up to FBS status if they didn't get offered a place.

Denver is leaving in 2012. UALR does not have a football team. South Alabama (already a member) is joining FB in 2013. That would put them at 10.

What are they supposed to do? The commercial is completely gay, but at least they're trying. They need to hire Thad.

According to this http://ncaabbs.com/showthread.php?tid=511685, SBC only has wins over Louisville and Indiana. C-USA on the other hand as a win over Pac12, win over B10, two win over ACC, and a win over Big East.
