We are going to continue to get a lot more National Attention because lets face it guys, we really do have a "bad [deleted]" football team this year that is only going to get better as the year goes on ! Period.

He really did look nervous. That is surprising to me. He's been around the track a few times. Shouldn't have been a big deal.

The logical conclusion is he was worried he'd be asked something he didn't want to answer. Looks like there may be more afoot with conference change than we know about. Notice how ready he was to completely deflect any conference questions. I would think that if BE was our only destination the 'distance' question could be answered. Are we still hoping for the much closer Big12?

He seemed most nervous on the conference realignment stuff. Interesting what he said. "We won't know for quite some time".

For what it's worth, when TCU to the Big XII broke a couple of weeks ago he was on with Norm and said that it's was unlikely SMU would be invited to an AQ conference anytime soon.....a few days later it was reported we were on the verge of a Big East invite.

He fumbled on the conference realignment question about traveling farther and being difficult on players and coaches. Easy response to that question:

I used to coach for Hawaii and play at SMU. Traveling to West Virginia is going to be easy.

Yeah, I was ready for him to make some comment about traveling long distances everywhere when at Hawaii so travel to different time zones is not a big deal.

He should have just said that travelling around the SEC won't be much different from CUSA.
