Please don't associate most Southern Miss's perceptions of this game with most of the koolaid drinkers on our rivals site. Most logical USM fans know that this game will be a hard fought game between 2 good teams who are on 4 and 5 game winning streaks. Probably why some of our fans can see past their gold-colored glasses. Most are giving you the credit that you guys deserve and know that June Jones has built a great football program in Dallas.

I think our teams are very similar with explosive offenses with improved defenses, with the edge in defense going to you guys. Line will be a beast as will your 2 slot recievers(can't remember names). I would have liked for our top 2 RB's to be active for this game(Hardy, D Johnson), but injuries are part of the game.

Good luck Saturday, please come early and if on campus early, walk close to a tailgate tent and you will be welcomed with plenty of food and frosty brews. We do have plenty of trees and bushes around campus for you to use the bathroom in, since we don't have working sewers and toilets yet down yonder ways in Mississippi!!
