Never in my life would I think that a SMU football fan would choose early season hockey over watching an SMU game.
You could go to Plano's 1st and 10. It's closer to Toronto than SMU, right?

First, I have had season's tickets to the Caps for almost 30 years. So a lot of loyalty over the years. Second, I was there to see the Red Wings skate the Cup around on Caps ice. So, this game has some special meaning for me. As I said, if we were playing some team like the Maple Leafs, I'd probably skip it. Third, at least until the Caps play the Flyers tonight, they're unbeaten so far this year as are the Red Wings. So, it is a very big match-up early in the season.
I should be in DC saturday and would be down to watch it anywhere...Crystal City Sports Bar is usually a good place, but if there is an SMU bar here in DC I'm game.
