My Early SMU Christmas Wish

Dear Santa,

Please let our SMU Mustangs win the C-USA Championship, then send us to the Liberty Bowl and I want to play the Texas Longhorns. One more wish Santa is that in that game let it be pouring rain and let Zack Line run ALL over the shorthorns and in the end let the final score be 20-6, just like we did back in the 80's in Austin.

Remember the heady days when we wished that our Ponies would only turn the ball over 5 times and only one of those would be returned for a TD? Things sure have changed.

Losing the ball, stupid penalties and blown coverage assignments are all things of the past thank goodness.

Actually, I would prefer a warm sunny day with no wind. Final score SMU 66 UT 3!!! Give them a reminder of their loss to UCLA in 1997.
